The concern with improving teach education is also found in the graduate level. So much so that the faculty has more than one initiative in this regard. One such initiative is the Multidepartment Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education (PECIM). In 2011, the FE, together with the Unicamp Physics, Chemistry and Geosciences institutes, proposed to the university the creation of the Multidepartment Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education (Pecim), which aims to strengthen teacher education in the areas of Sciences, being a stricto-sensu graduate program. After being approved, the course has been executed in a cooperation regime between departments, having served 111 students so far.
